Stolen vehicle charges in Moreton, QLD

Four teenagers have been charged after they were arrested by police in an allegedly stolen vehicle in Morayfield on February 6.

It will be alleged around 12pm, a grey Volkswagen Tiguan was sighted by police on Caboolture River Road.

PolAir continued to track the vehicle for some time before it was dumped on Lomanda Drive.

The four occupants exited the Volkswagen before being picked up by a Holden Commodore.

It will be further alleged that the second vehicle then drove to Dundee Street.

Officers attended the location a short time later and took all four occupants into custody without incident.

It will be alleged the Volkswagen was stolen from a residence in Kingaroy on January 5.

A 15-year-old Kingaroy boy was charged with 19 offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle (publish on social media), unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling and commit and wilful damage.

A 14-year-old Morayfield boy was charged with 15 offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling and commit and receiving tainted property.

A 15-year-old Caboolture girl was charged with eight offences including unlawful use of a motor vehicle (publish on social media), stealing and fraud.

A 14-year-old North Lakes boy was charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count of wilful damage.

All four had the police bail refused and were scheduled to appear before Caboolture Childrens Court on January 7.
