Heavy rainfall has now eased through the Carpentaria and Barkly. Strong convection associated with tropical low 07U has eased this afternoon.
Persistent rainfall is likely to redevelop over the Carpentaria and Barkly districts over the coming days, with moderate to locally heavy falls expected.
