A fire, which caused extensive electrical damage at Larrakeyah Defence Precinct, was successfully extinguished by NT Fire and Rescue Service crews this afternoon.
At around 5:30pm, crews responded to the structure fire on Allen Avenue.
Upon arrival, crews from Darwin Fire Station and Berrimah Fire Station, observed a large amount of smoke coming from the main gallery. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and extinguished the fire.
Occupants were safely evacuated and there was no injuries reported.
Fire Investigators are currently on scene and will determine the cause of the fire.
