The Subway Young Socceroos’ FIFA U20 World Cup Chile 2025™ Group Stage opponents have been revealed, following the tournament’s Official Draw in Santiago, Chile.
Australia has been drawn into Group D alongside Argentina, Cuba and Italy.
The FIFA U20 World Cup Chile 2025™ – scheduled from 27 September to 19 October – features 24 teams from across the globe, with the Subway Young Socceroos sealing their place in the 24th edition of the bi-annual tournament courtesy of their history-making victory at the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2025™.
FIFA U20 World Cup Chile 2025™ fixtures will be played out of the cities of Santiago, Rancagua, Valparaiso and Talca, with a detailed schedule to be released at a later date. The Group Stage of the tournament will see the top two teams advance to the last 16, as well as the four best third-placed finishers.
