Brimbank Council is excited to support the first ever Sunshine Silos Projection Festival at Parsons Reserve on Saturday 16 November 2019.
Join us for this special event to celebrate the arts, Sunshine’s rich industrial history and cultural diversity.
The festival will feature art projections, fabulous children’s activities, roving performers, food trucks and a music program on stage with a
strong neighbourhood flavour.
The highlight begins at sunset when the silos will light up with over 1,000 animations and images contributed by 15 local schools. These will be intercut with historical footage and interviews with local legends, outlining the history and culture of Sunshine under the broad theme ‘You are my Sunshine!’
The festival is brought to the community by the Victorian Government’s ‘Pick My Project’ initiative and delivered by residents in partnership with Brimbank Council, with projection design by Little Projector Company.
This is a unique and no charge event.
