An enchanting winter wonderland is coming to the Gold Coast this weekend!
Experience the magic of Christmas in July as Surfers Paradise Foreshore comes alive with a dazzling array of winter-themed displays and FREE festive activities from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 July 2023.
“The Kids Weekend: Christmas in July event will return to Surfers Paradise Beach and foreshore this weekend after its successful introduction to the city last year,” said Deputy Mayor Donna Gates.
“This is one of the City’s many free events for locals and visitors to enjoy some quality time together and experience a variety of activities at this beautiful beachside location.”
Get your skates on and glide across the open-air ice-skating rink adorned with decorations while overlooking the coast’s most popular beach.
Visit the Kids’ Workshop area set up in a marquee on the beach to decorate and indulge in a snowflake cookie, plus get crafty with some colouring-in.
The Christmas Markets will be selling a range of delightful treasures including locally made arts and craft, clothing and local produce.
For a relaxing way to spend the evening, head to the Igloo Lounge where you can treat yourself to the warmth of a hot chocolate and Churros.
Families can snuggle up on the beach while enjoying classic Christmas movies.
