Suspect sought over Windsor Gardens break-in

Eastern District Police are investigating a break-in at Windsor Gardens last week and have released a computer generated image of the suspect.

About 9.30pm on Wednesday 3 June, the victim went out to the granny flat at his Lothian Avenue, Windsor Gardens home and saw the door had been kicked in.

He confronted an intruder inside the granny flat and chased him down the driveway of the house.

The suspect had stolen medication, dropping some packets as he ran away.

The victim was not injured during the incident.

Patrols attended the scene and searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Axe, but did not locate the suspect.

The victim has provided a clear description of the suspect and helped police to compile an image of the man.

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s, about 188 cm tall, with a skinny build. He was wearing a dark flat peak cap, a light blue Adidas zip-up jacket and dark trackpants.
