Detectives from the State Flying Squad are appealing for public assistance as they conduct inquiries into a suspicious vehicle fire in Richlands.
At around 5:10am on Saturday 5 September police were called to Orchard Road complex following reports of a loud bang and a blue 2025 MG ZST hatchback fully engulfed. Emergency services arrived a short time later and extinguished the fire.
The vehicle was destroyed by the fire and investigations are continuing.
Police are appealing to anyone who was on Orchard Road near the community centre from 5am onward who may have seen anyone else in its vicinity, or have relevant dashcam footage, to come forward.
