Swinburne consolidates standing in global rankings

Swinburne University of Technology has continued to rise in international rankings and receive global recognition for our world-class research and education.

In the 2021 Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject, Swinburne has ranked in the top 101-125 institutions in Law and in the top 176-200 in Engineering and Technology.

US News and World Report’s Best Global Universities ranking

Swinburne has also ranked 297th in the US News and World Report’s Best Global Universities, up from 358 last year. This ranking is based on the data of roughly 1,500 schools from 86 countries across 13 variables including global research reputation, volume and quality of publications from students and faculty and international research collaboration. Swinburne’s rankings by subjects are:
