The 2023 Blacktown City Family SportsFest is nearly here!

The sports extravaganza will be held on Saturday 26 August from noon to 4 pm at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope (Sentry Drive, Stanhope Gardens).

Mayor of Blacktown City Councillor Tony Bleasdale OAM said Sportsfest is set to be bigger and better this year with loads of activities for the entire family to enjoy.

“There will be sports clinics, demonstrations, interactive sporting displays, appearances from sporting personalities, inflatables, giveaways and lots more. The best part is that everything is free! said Mayor Bleasdale.

“Blacktown is a proud sporting city and this event is the perfect opportunity to showcase the sports available within our community. The day will offer several ‘come and try’ clinics and an opportunity to find out about the great programs and services that are available at Council’s Leisure and Aquatic Centres”.

Entry to the whole of Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope will be free from noon to 4 pm, allowing families to enjoy all that SportsFest has to offer on the day, while also checking out the range of facilities on offer at the Centre.

This year’s SportsFest will include interactive displays from a range of sports including soccer, pickleball, tennis, rugby league, baseball, basketball, hockey, cricket, athletics, netball, softball and much more.

Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope will also be offering a special 10% discount on all upfront memberships and no joining fee on the day.

There will be plenty on offer to guarantee you have a ‘sportacular’ day at the 2023 Blacktown City ‘Family SportsFest’!
