Taskforce Falcon charge woman over alleged involvement in conspiracy to kill organised crime figure

Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a woman over her alleged involvement in a plot to kill a prominent organised crime figure that was foiled by police last year.

About 3pm on Friday 26 September 2025, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command noticed a grey BMW sedan with cloned plates on Columbine Avenue in Bankstown.

When police approached the vehicle to speak to the driver, he allegedly took off from the scene at speed.

A pursuit was initiated through Bankstown and Padstow; however, terminated a short time later due to safety concerns.

During a canvass of the area, police allegedly found a loaded handgun discarded on Fairford Road.

The BMW was found abandoned about 3.40pm on Beaconsfield Street in Revesby and both items were seized for further forensic examination.

After providing the initial response, local police referred the investigation to State Crime Command’s Taskforce Falcon under Strike Force Encantado.

Detectives uncovered several parties allegedly involved at various stages of planning the intended murder, including setting up of staged vehicles, surveillance on the target, the planning of getaway drivers, as well as those coordinating the hit.

Six people have since been charged and remain before the courts.

Following further extensive inquiries, strike force detectives – with assistance from Raptor Squad – executed a search warrant in Ingleburn about 6.20am today (Friday 9 October 2026).

A 30-year-old woman as arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where she was charged with conspire and agree to murder any person and drive conveyance taken without consent of owner.

She was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today (Friday 9 October 2026).

At this time Taskforce Falcon detectives have arrested 887 people resulting in 2269 charges being laid.
