Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a drone operator over an alleged conspiracy to murder a man in Sydney’s south west.
About 5.30am on Friday 11 September 2026, officers attached to State Crime Command’s Taskforce Falcon – with assistance from Raptor Squad and the Homicide Squad – arrested two men aged 18 and 19 in West Hoxton.
They were taken to Liverpool Police Station where they were charged and remain before the courts.
Strike Force Naleto was established to commence inquiries into an alleged conspiracy to murder.
A 28-year-old woman has since been charged and remains before the courts.
Following further inquiries, about 8.50am yesterday (Monday 28 September 2026) strike force detectives arrested an 18-year-old man in Silverwater.
He has since been charged with conspire and agree to murder any person, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, possess DECCD to commit serious criminal activity and fail to operate unmanned aircraft within visual line of sight.
The 18-year-old man was remanded in custody to appear at Bail Division Local Court 6 today.
Detectives will allege the man was operating a drone to conduct surveillance as part of an alleged conspiracy to murder a man.
Investigations under Strike Force Naleto are ongoing.
