A teenager has been charged after a group was allegedly threatened in Sydney’s west last month.
About 8pm, Saturday 13 June 2020, six males were walking on a footbridge at Mount Druitt Railway Station when they were confronted by a number of people.
Police have been told, a boy allegedly threatened them with a hammer and demanded their phones and a bag before fleeing.
No one was injured during the incident.
Officers attached to the Mount Druitt Police Area Command attended the scene and commenced an investigation.
About 5pm yesterday (Sunday 6 July 2020), a 17-year-old boy was arrested at a home in Birrong and taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he was charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, and affray.
He has been refused bail to face a Children’s Court today (Monday 6 July 2020).
