A teenage boy has been charged after another boy was assaulted at a railway station in Sydney’s west last week.
Just after 2pm on Friday 4 September 2026, emergency services were called to Seven Hills Railway Station, following reports of an assault at a platform.
Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were told a 15-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by two teenagers – known to the boy – before they left the scene prior to police arrival.
The boy was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics with head and facial injuries before being taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Officer attached to Police Transport Command were later notified and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Following inquiries, about 8am today (Tuesday 8 September 2026), police arrested a 17-year-old boy at Blacktown Police Station.
He was charged with destroy or damage property less than or equal to $2000, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of other.
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Children’s Court on Friday 25 September 2026.
Inquiries to locate the second person continue.
