Teenager seriously assaulted at West Lakes, South Australia

Police are currently at the scene of a serious assault at West Lakes.

Just after 3pm on Saturday 14 December, patrols were called to a reserve off West Lakes Boulevard, after reports a large group of teens had gathered. The youths dispersed into smaller groups prior to patrols arriving with reports some were carrying metal bars.

A short time later, a teenage boy was assaulted by a group of youths in Marinna Circuit near Maramba Reserve. The victim has been taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital with serious head injuries.

Two other teenage boys were taken to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital with minor injuries however, police are yet to speak with the victims.
