Teens injured in single-vehicle crash in Belanglo

Four teenagers have been injured in a single-vehicle crash in the Southern Highlands last night.

Just before 9.45pm (Friday 3 July 2020), emergency services were called to Bunnigalore Road, Belanglo, reports a Toyota Prado left the road and hit a tree.

Eight teenagers – four travelling inside the vehicle and four outside – all aged 17 and 18 – were assessed by NSW Amabulance paramedics.

A 17-year-old girl sustained facial injuries and was airlifted to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Two 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old boy sustained various injuries including cuts, abraisions and a broken arm.

They were also taken to Liverpool Hospital.

The other passengers were uninjured.

A crime scene was established and officers from The Hume Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surroundging the crash.

As part of their inquiries, police have spoken to the provisional driver, a 17-year-old girl, and inquiries continue.
