Ballina Shire Council wishes to advise that a section of Airport Boulevard will be temporarily closed on Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December 2023.
Airport Boulevard will be closed between Corks Lane and Boeing Avenue from 7am to 4.30pm Monday 4 December, and 7am to 2pm Tuesday 5 December.
During this time motorists will need to travel via Southern Cross Drive to access Ballina Byron Gateway Airport or travel via Boeing Avenue and turn left onto Airport Boulevard. Access to Corks Lane will be maintained.
This temporary road closure is required for line marking works that will create four-hour parallel parking along Airport Boulevard, between Boeing Avenue and Corks Lane. Once the works are complete, 36 new parallel four-hour parking spaces will be available.
