Ballina Shire Council will commence road reconstruction works in Burnet Street, Ballina from Tuesday 1 March 2022.
The works will take approximately 4-6 weeks to complete. During this time Burnet Street, between Grant and Kerr Streets, will be closed to through-traffic.
However access will be maintained at all times for residents and Amart Furniture staff and customers.
This project, which is part of Council’s ongoing Road Reconstruction program, will involve a full dig out of the existing roadway, laying of new asphalt and improved road sealing.
Council thanks residents and property owners for their patience and understanding as these essential works are completed.
