In a coup for the Territory, some of the fastest cars on earth will be visiting both Darwin and Alice Springs, when they host a round of the 2022/2023 Burson Auto Parts Australian Top Fuel Championship (BAPATFC).
The opening round of BAPATFC Season 2 will take place at Red CentreNATS, the ultimate festival of wheels, in Alice Springs on 2 September 2022.
The grand finale will take place at the Darwin Triple Crown Supercars event in 2023, date to be confirmed.
This is in addition to the Season 1 BAPATFC final taking place at this year’s Merlin Darwin Triple Crown on 17-18 June 2022 at Hidden Valley Raceway.
The BAPATFC is now a national event, with rounds in every jurisdiction that has a suitable drag strip but, as the best place to host motorsport events, the Territory is the only one to host two rounds.
