Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House
From noon on Friday 8 September until 9am Monday 11 September, we’ll be closing our doors… something that doesn’t happen very often.
We’re proactively replacing our main electrical switchboard, parts of which have been in place since Malcolm Fraser was in the building. This requires a full power shutdown across Old Parliament House.
This work is an essential part of making sure our building can be enjoyed by visitors in years to come.
