Three injured in disturbance at Hackham West

Three people have been injured in a violent altercation at Hackham West overnight.

Police were called to a disturbance at a Radom Court, Hackham West home just after 4am on Friday 22 December.

Three women were found to have sustained stab wounds in the fight and were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre by ambulance. Fortunately, none of their injuries are considered life-threatening at this time.

A 21-year-old Hackham West woman sustained multiple injuries and is in a serious but stable condition.

A 21-year-old Hackham West woman and a 51-year-old Plympton Park were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigations are continuing and police will be speaking with the three women and other people who were involved or witnessed this incident.

Police wish to reassure the local community that this was not a random incident and all people involved are known to each other.

Radom Court and the intersection of Majorca Road and Warsaw Crescent are closed to traffic while police examine the crime scene.
