TMC Announces Changes to Organizational Structure

Toyota City, Japan, July 31, 2026―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) today announced the following organizational changes, effective August 1.

  • BR Administration Reform Group (newly established)
  • BR Corporate Communication Reform Group (newly established)
  • Based on this year’s Labor-Management Discussions and Joint Labor-Management Round Table Sessions, Toyota will establish two company-wide Business Reform (BR) organizations reporting directly to company leadership to reassess existing systems and ways of working from the perspective of their intended purpose and accelerate efforts to create new value.
  • The BR Administration Reform Group will promote the creation of an environment in which frontline teams can make decisions and act with greater agility to fully leverage their strengths. It aims to transform administrative work, systems, and the use of time by confronting the realities of rapidly changing workplaces, building on the strengths developed through administrative and indirect functions, and making decisions about what to stop or change while making greater use of AI and digital technologies.
  • The BR Corporate Communication Reform Group aims to deliver more accurate and timely corporate messages concerning management, businesses, products, technologies, and other topics to stakeholders. It will pursue a distinctly Toyota approach to communication that contributes to enhancing corporate value.
