Sydney, Australia, December 5, 2019 – Toplace announced today that Wiping Tears, one of their non-for-profit partners has donated four state-of-the-art Philips heart monitors to Bankstown Hospital. These cardiac monitors will have a huge impact, especially to the practical care of the children that are admitted to the Paediatric ward of the said hospital.
The heart monitors are extremely accurate and have the ability to rapidly provide doctors with timely patient data leading to faster, efficient, and accurate care. Technological upgrades like this would certainly improve the performance of the medical staff and ensure the safety of the patients as well.
Toplace came across the need for this essential equipment through a discussion with a staff member of the hospital who indicated that the paediatric ward needed better facilities and that they lacked funding. Such technology is imperative particularly in newborns to ensure that any heart complications are found early on and can be treated promptly.
