Tourism Voucher Scheme Sees Strong Operator Uptake One Week Out

With one week to go until Territorians can register and receive their $200 Territory Tourism voucher on 1 July, more than 4,000 bookable experiences or products are now available across the Territory for locals to get out and see their own backyard.

The Territory Labor Government’s $5.2 million tourism voucher scheme is encouraging Territorians to explore the Territory and support local tourism businesses until borders can safely re-open to interstate visitors on 17 July.

More than 26,000 vouchers worth $200 will be available from 1 July for Territorians aged 18 years and over to book a local tourism experience with a matched spend of their own money, generating an anticipated $10.4 million in visitor expenditure into the economy.
