Police have established a marine exclusion zone off Kings Beach in Bowen from today, July 20, to August 19 as part of a military training exercise.
The closed area (pictured) will be used by military vessels, aircraft and personnel from the US and Australia during Exercise Talisman Sabre 2023.
Boaties and other recreational water users are requested to avoid the area, which stretches approximately three nautical miles off the coast of Kings Beach, near McCanes Bay, at Bowen.
