The Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, Catherine King, will travel to China next week to attend the 21st session of the APEC Transportation Ministerial Meeting.
In Beijing the Minister will meet with her Ministerial counterparts to discuss priorities and cooperation for transport systems across our region.
The Minister will also meet with her Chinese ministerial counterpart Minister Liu Wei.
The Australian Government remains committed to a stable and constructive relationship with China, which is in the interests of both of our countries.
Ongoing dialogue and forums such as APEC help ensure collaboration and connectivity across member countries and within the Asia and Pacific region.
The Minister will be away from Sunday 20 September to Wednesday 23 September.
