The malaria community is mourning the passing of former WHO staff member John Storey, global authority on malaria control and a leading expert on malaria microscopy. This tribute was developed by Steve Bjorge, Jeffrey Hii, Cecil Hugo, Michael Macdonald, Kevin Palmer and Allan Schapira.
