Police arrested two teenagers following an aggravated burglary and assault in Werribee overnight.
It is alleged two male offenders, who were armed with weapons, forced entry into a property on Otterham Way about 1.15am.
They allegedly assaulted one of the male occupants.
The 45-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening slash wounds.
Three others were inside at the time and were not physically injured.
The offenders allegedly stole car keys from the property and attempted to steal a car.
Police responded and blocked the vehicle in before arresting one of the teens at the scene.
The other teenager fled on foot and was arrested nearby.
The 15-year-old and 14-year-old boys, both from the Wyndham area, were taken into custody to be interviewed.
