Two girls arrested for incidents in City

Perth Detectives investigating several robbery, shoplifting and assault reports that occurred on Thursday 16 July 2020 have charged two teenage girls.

It is alleged during Thursday afternoon, the two girls were involved in multiple indents in the Perth CBD and Northbridge areas where they allegedly used threats and violence to steal items of property.

Several victims were physically assaulted but luckily none of them required medical treatment.

A 13-year-old girl from Swan View and a 15-year-old girl from Ellenbrook have both been charged with:-

• Two counts of Aggravated Robbery;

• One count of Attempted Aggravated Robbery;

• One count of Common Assault; and

• One count of Stealing.

Both appeared in court this morning and have been remanded in custody to appear in the Perth Children’s Court 22 and 23 July 2020 respectively.
