Sunday 3 December marks 20 years of Pelican Park Recreation Centre in Hastings!
Join us in celebrating this hub of inclusivity, fun, health and wellbeing on Sunday 3 December. From 12pm to 4pm, we’re hosting a family friendly celebratory event at Pelican Park.
Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
Activities will be held throughout the day, including a visit from Marianna the mermaid, Group Fitness classes, DJ, pool games, plus giveaways and competitions you won’t want to miss!
This special 20-year milestone reflects the support we have received from the Hastings and surrounding community. Our founding and ongoing members use Pelican Park’s recently renovated space to stay active and connected.
To keep the good times rolling, our 20-year celebrations will extend across ten days from Friday 1 December.
Festivities will include exclusive member-only celebrations and the following:
- Mega group fitness classes
- Health Club challenges
- GOswim Carnival Night with special guests
- Free community health checks, including hearing and body composition checks
- A visit from Marianna the mermaid
- Guest speaker Carly Taylor on the topic of Mental Health Fitness
- DJ
- Heaps of giveaways and competitions suitable for all ages.
Pelican Park Recreation Centre caters to the needs of the entire Westernport community, to help both members and casual visitors to be happy and healthy. Facilities include a fully equipped lifestyle gym, functional training area, over 50 fitness classes a week, 25-metre indoor pool, leisure pool, toddler pool and spa.
None of this would be possible without Belgravia Leisure, who has proudly operated the daily services at Pelican Park since 29 October 2017.
