Approximately 7pm Emergency personnel attended a two vehicle crash on the Bass Hwy near Hagley. The crash occurred when an east bound Audi ran into the rear of a stationary Toyota hatch. The driver of the Toyota was cut from the vehicle by SES personnel. There were also 3 small children in the Toyota, two of whom had been pulled from the vehicle prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. All vehicle occupants where taken to the Launceston General Hospital for treatment. The Bass Hwy remained closed for approximately 2 hours.
