Unlawful entries in Darwin region

Northern Territory Police have charged a 19-year-old female and a 43-year-old male following multiple unlawful entries this month.

Between 10am Sunday 3 January and 6.30am Monday 4 January, the offenders allegedly unlawfully entered two businesses in Pinelands and Berrimah. A significant amount of property was stolen including a Toyota Landcruiser.

At around 4am Sunday 17 January, the two offenders allegedly unlawfully entered and stole from a business in Berrimah.

Upon further investigations, the two were also linked to a vehicle stolen from Winnellie on 23 October 2020.

The man was charged with:

  • 3 X unlawful entry – building
  • 2 X aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • 3 X damage to property
  • 3 X stealing
  • 1 X driver drive under influence of drugs

The woman was charged with:

  • 3 X unlawful entry – building
  • 2 X aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • 3 X damage to property
  • 3 X stealing

They were remanded in custody to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
