Queensland Police have this morning located two of the three escapees that absconded from Palen Creek Correctional Centre in Rathdowney yesterday.
The two men, aged 32 and 20, were intercepted by police at Northgate around 10am today. They are presently in police custody.
Queensland Police and Queensland Corrective Services are continuing to search for Antonio David Mene, 28, who still remains at large.
Antonio is described as 170cm tall, light build, 73 kgs with brown, dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair. He has a number of tattoos on his body including, a full calf tattoo, four dots on thumb and “Menzie”near thumb.
The investigation is being led by regional police and is being assisted by Crime and Intelligence Command Corrective Service Detectives and Queensland Corrective Service Intelligence Analysts.
