Police are appealing for public assistance as part of the investigation into a serious traffic crash at Targinnie (Gladstone) this afternoon November 12.
At around 5:44pm emergency services were notified of a serious traffic crash on Targinnie Road near the intersection of Wilson Road , Targinnie where four people have been injured.
The white Hyundai station wagon was travelling north along Targinnie Road when it lost control.
An 8-year-old child, who was a passenger in the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are also appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have dash-camera footage along Targinnie and Wilson Road prior to the crash, to come forward.
