Police investigating a multi vehicle traffic crash at Susan River earlier this year are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
Investigations to date indicate about 6.10pm on 30 April, a white Mitsubishi Lancer was travelling north along Maryborough Hervey Bay Road when it lost control and veered onto the opposite side of the road, swiping a white Suzuki Swift before colliding head on with a red Volkswagen Polo.
That crash caused an orange Hyundai Kona that was travelling behind the Volkswagen to rear end that vehicle.
A passenger in the Mitsubishi, a 16-year-old girl, and a passenger in the Polo, a 40-year-old woman, were both taken to hospital in a critical condition. They have since been discharged from hospital.
Eight other people were also taken to Hervey Bay Hospital with various injuries and have also since been discharged.
No charges have been laid over the crash at this time.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the moments leading up to it, and anyone who may have relevant dashcam is urged to contact Policelink.
