Update to cancer services and programs

We understand there has been some global uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic over the last few months; however, thanks to you, we were able to continue providing vital services and programs to West Australians impacted by cancer during this time. We’re so incredibly grateful for the commitment of our donors and supporters to help during this difficult time.

With the recent easing of restrictions by the WA Government, we’re delighted to provide the following updates on our active services and programs, effective 29 June 2020.

Regional WA Services

Cancer Council WA provides a range of practical and emotional support, professional services and information in various regional areas in Western Australia.

You can now make an appointment to see a Regional Cancer Support Coordinator in person at one of our regional centres, which have re-opened to visitors with physical distancing and hand hygiene measures in place. However, if you’d prefer, they can also assist you through telephone or video consults.

Our Regional Cancer Support Coordinators provide information, offer emotional support and can connect anyone affected by cancer to local services and support groups in their local area. Some Regional centres offer Complementary Therapy, Regional Transport to Treatment and Regional Wig Services.
