Updated Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction 26 June, South Australia

Updates have been made to Cross Border Travel Direction in South Australia in relation to travellers who have arrived from New South Wales.

The Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel-Associated Direction No 22) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Cross Border Travel – Associated Direction No 23) (COVID-19) Direction 2021 which came into effect at 8:19 pm on Saturday 26 June 2021.

The changes include:

Any person who arrived in South Australia between 12:01 am on Monday 21 June 2021 and 11:59 pm on Wednesday 23 June 2021 who had been in Greater Sydney including Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong after 12:01 am on Monday 21 June 2021 is subject to Level 4 requirements:

  • COVID-19 test on day 1, 5, & 13.
  • Self-quarantine for 14 days (from the day of arrival).
  • Must wear a face mask (covering mouth and nose) at any time that they come into contact with the public for a period of 14 days after their arrival in South Australia.

Important- All other restrictions in relation to Victoria and New South Wales are still in place and remain unchanged.
