The $300 million upgrade of the Mount Ousley Interchange is a step closer with early works about to start.
The new interchange will replace the existing intersection of the Princes Motorway and Mount Ousley Road.
Early works will include relocating and installing water, gas, telecommunications and electrical services ahead of major construction in 2024.
A shortlist of contractors has been compiled ahead of the next stage of tendering for design and major construction of the interchange.
The $300 million Mount Ousley Interchange project is being jointly funded by the Australian and New South Wales governments on an 80:20 basis.
