V/Line cross-border travel set to resume

V/Line passengers will be able to travel to and from South Australia from Tuesday, 23 November, following the easing of cross-border travel restrictions.

All coaches to and from Mt Gambier will resume running as normal from Tuesday.

Coaches heading to Adelaide will resume as normal from Tuesday and coaches travelling from Adelaide to Albury and Bendigo will resume as normal from Wednesday.

Passengers are asked to plan ahead, and ensure they have the correct permits and meet the travel requirements of their destination.

People travelling from Victoria into South Australia need to provide proof of double vaccination status.

Resuming coach services:

  • Ballarat – Mt Gambier
  • Warrnambool – Mt Gambier
  • Bendigo/Southern Cross – Adelaide (Daylink)
  • Albury – Adelaide (Speedlink)

If you’re travelling on public transport, or in a taxi or rideshare service, you must wear a fitted mask covering your nose and mouth for the entire journey.

QR codes have been rolled out across the public transport network to keep passengers safe, support the Department of Health contact tracing efforts to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Check-in every time you see a QR code and register your myki so that we can contact you if you’ve travelled on a public transport service that’s been identified as a COVID-19 exposure site.
