At about 8.45 a.m. today a magnitude 6.0 earthquake was recorded with the epicentre in and around Mansfield, Victoria, just over 800 kilometres from Adelaide. The earthquake has been felt in Adelaide and other parts of South Australia.
South Australia Police is the lead agency responding to incidents of earthquakes in this State and at this time, there has been no reported damage or injuries to any person in South Australia.
We will continue to monitor the situation during the day as after shocks may occur.
