The Public Health Act 2010 (NSW) provides police with the power to enforce ministerial directions which assists NSW Health to reduce the risk of community spread. As NSW is currently experiencing an increase in cases of COVID-19 within the community, anyone who is deliberately breaching or contravening any of these orders should expect to receive a Penalty Infringement Notice. |
