Wait Over For Victorian Student VCE Results

  • Minister for Education

The wait is over for nearly 50,000 Victorian students who will receive their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) results from 7:00am today.

Minister for Education James Merlino congratulated all the students, most of who received their results online.

This year, 49,324 students will graduate with their VCE – a record completion rate of 98.1 per cent. A record number of students – 13,942 – completed their Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).

This year, nearly 21,969 study scores of 40 or more were awarded.

Students getting results today may go to university, TAFE, start an apprenticeship or traineeship, begin employment or take some time off for a gap year.

Mr Merlino reminded students that their results don’t define them and emphasised the many opportunities and pathways available for school leavers to achieve their goals.

VCE students have until 4:00pm on 14 December to change their university and TAFE preferences via their VTAC account prior to the release of December offers.

Students with questions about their results and change of preference can contact the Post Results and ATAR enquiry service on 1800 653
