Police have charged a 27-year-old Warrane woman with Armed Robbery following an incident in a taxi near Risdon Vale early this morning.
It is alleged the woman produced a kitchen knife and demanded money from the taxi driver, who was not physically injured.
The woman was arrested by police as she exited the taxi.
She was charged and scheduled to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
