From 9am – 3pm Wednesday 27 October 2021.
Ballina Shire Council will be installing a new water main in Acacia Place as part of its Water Main Replacement Program.
For the replacement to occur, water will be temporarily unavailable to properties in Acacia Place, and parts of Moon Street (even numbers 68 to 82) and parts of Fox Street (even numbers 66 to 78). Impacted properties have received notification in their letterbox.
Please remember these water outage tips:
- During any water disruption it’s important to leave your taps off as the water may return at any time.
- When water returns it may be discoloured. This is due to sediment. Please run the tap until your water runs clear.
- Your water may appear milky. This is caused by small air bubbles. Don’t be alarmed, it is not harmful, and will settle in a short period.
