Lithgow Council
Council advises that the water supply in the area of Kirkley Street through to McKanes Falls Road, South Bowenfels has been repaired and the lines are being recharged currently.
Council staff have completed the mains repair which was found below the many layers of pavement in the Great Western Highway near Kirkley Street. Once lines have recharged to normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period.
Council apologises for the delay in service being returned. Staff have been working continuously on the infrastructure to return service and stopping only to ensure fatigue is managed.
