Waterbank fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Waterbank (Broome) yesterday, Tuesday 26 July 2022.

About 9.35am, a white Nissan Patrol was travelling south on the Broome-Cape Leveque Road when the vehicle left the carriageway and rolled.

The driver, a 71-year-old man, was conveyed by ambulance to Broome Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A 70-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the vehicle died at the scene from injuries received in the crash.

Major Crash investigators are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or the Nissan Patrol travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
