We say THANK YOU, Today and Everyday – International Volunteer Day 2019

Today is International Volunteer Day, a time to celebrate and recognise all the work that volunteers do in our local community. Our volunteers selflessly dedicate their lives to ensure the safety of Australian’s across the state.

NSW SES volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing with them many different skills, interests and backgrounds. They leave work at short notice, giving up time with their family and friends to help their community when they need them the most. So today, we say THANK YOU to our #orangeangels

NSW SES volunteers have responded to over 29,000 jobs since the beginning of 2019 and now that storm season is here, that number is expected to rise before the year ends.
