A lot more recycling from large cardboard boxes or extra bottles and cans is generated over the festive period, so every year, Hawkesbury City Council offers increased recycling collection services.
Council will provide a weekly recycling collection service between Monday, 26 December 2022 to Friday, 6 January 2023 to eligible properties paying for a domestic waste service. This service will be provided on scheduled collection days including public holidays. Bin collection days remain the same even on public holidays.
