Fremantle Detectives are appealing for the mother of a newborn baby boy located today, to come forward.
Around 8am this morning (20 March 2019), the baby was located outside a medical centre in Booragoon. The baby was taken to the Perth Children’s Hospital appears to be in good health.
Concerns are held for the mother of the child as she may require medical attention and police are asking her to contact them.
Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the mother is asked to call police on 131 444 or through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
If the mother of the child does not wish to contact police we urge her to contact Department of Communities on 9431 8800 or after 5pm, Crisis Care on 9233 1111.
