Well Over In Highett

A 46-year-old man from Highett will have to make alternative transport arrangements after his licence was immediately suspended after he was allegedly found drink driving in Highett.

Police observed a white Audi collided with a parked car in Railway Parade about 6.30pm on Wednesday night while attempting to reverse park.

Police spoke to the driver of the Audi and he accompanied police for an evidentiary breath test where he returned an alleged reading of 0.199.

He has lost his licence for 12 months and had his car towed with towing costs of $932.40.

He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic offences.
